The Lovedays formed in late 2008, releasing their first self titled album in November of that year. The acclaim afforded to their debut effort got the band prestigious spots at Lounge on The Farm,and The International Pop Overthrow Festival, playing at both The Cavern Club in Liverpool and Kennys Castaways in New York City under the IPO banner.

The band is made up of Ben Jones on Lead Vocals, guitar and songwriting duties, Paul Moss on Bass and backing vocals and Sam Jacques on Drums and backing vocals. 

The band are all Kent boys, cutting their teeth on the local circuit, taking influence from The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Billy Childish,
Roy Wood and Bob Dylan to name but a few.
